In 2018 Shoreline Amphitheatre, Mountain View, California, United States. Google's CEO Sunder Pichai announce big updates for future with Android P. Google announce uncountable updates and releases but here i collated top best updates for you.
Some updates are important for normal users and some updates are so important for developers. So here I’m going to tell you those updates that is so important for us and for you.
Some updates are you will see in Android 9.0 P and some Updates are you will see in web Google.

Google Maps
If you're using Google Maps then this news is very important for you. Google gave us big updates for Maps users.
This is so much easier to find right way, you don't need to look up for turn right or left. You will see new camera icon in Google Maps application.
When you trying to find best route for your just you will have to type your destination address and then just tap on camera icon. You will see the straight view in your app. After that your camera automatically show you best way for your destination. Your screen will show you correct address of any building or shops near you.
If you move your phone screen from left to right then app will show you area information.
Google Assistance with 6 New Voices
Google announce that Google Assistance has 6 new voices. This is big update for those who're using Google assistance. You will be able to choose voice sound which is suitable you.
One of the best part is that you could choose JOHN LEGEND voice for your assistance.
Google finds that John Legend voice is pretty famous among users, so that decided to add John Legend voice in Google Assistance.
5 other voices will be hear on Google assistance like girl, woman, kids, man, and old-age on more.
Google Image (document scanner, colorizing, text recognize)
In Google Image app which is linked with Google Drive, if you have Android P 9.0 then you can see there 3 different options Document scanner, Colorizing and Text recognize.
In first option Document Scanner can you take a picture of any document like professional scanner? Think you're going to take a picture of any document and when you hover camera over the document picture be like picture A see below. And B picture is for which is take from Document Scanner in Google Image.
After see image you can understand what’s new in Google Image. When you hover camera on any document camera automatically detect and scan like a pro.
Next is COLORIZING option in Google Image.
So what is this? & why you should use this?
Colorizing means you can feel colour in any black in white (old) picture. But you should learn Photoshop Software for feel colour in any black in white picture. So Colorizing option can feel color in any old black in white picture without learning Photoshop.
You need to just upload any old black in white picture in Google Photos and your picture automatically colorized. Google Photos detects automatically any black in white pictures and feels color according to the pictures.
Next Option is TEXT DETECTION
In this option you can select, copy and save any text file like books, magazine, newspaper etc.
You will see camera option in Google Photos, when you open this camera then you just need to hover your camera on any newspaper, magazine or any books, camera will automatically detect all text and let you select, copy & save selected those text. See the picture above.
Gmail auto Text Correction
New updates for Gmail users. When you send an email to someone then you need to type one by one proper text like paragraph, header, footer etc. Now you don't need to type all things at all.
You can see the picture above, when you type any mail Gmail will type automatically all possible text according to receiver. This is very useful option for those who using Gmail maximum time.
Now you don't need to type all text all times, Gmail will help you to send mail faster as faster.
App Notifications Timer
In this option you can adjust app notification time. If you irritate from app notification beep sound then you muted your phone for make silent, but in silent mode call and important massage both also be silent. So Google bring new feature in new Android P 9.0 called App Notification Timer.
When you're busy like 8 am to 5 pm then you can set app notification as silent from 8 am to 5pm and when you're free to use your phone like 5 pm to 8 am then you can set app notification as alert mode (normal mode) to listen all app notifications.
This feature is so useful for everyone.
